Colon Cancer: Blocked Colon Relieved by Herbs

It was one late evening in mid-July 2005, that our friend, Chai and his wife came to our house.
Chai's 82-year-old mother-in-law (let us refer to her as Sk), came down with colon cancer. She lost weight, was anaemic and could hardly walk. She was admitted into a hospital for investigation. The gastroenterologist performed a colonoscopy and found a large mass at the hepatic flexure. It obstructed the tube of the colonoscope. The biopsy description of 16 July 2005, indicated infiltrating, slowly differentiated adenocarcinoma. The doctor wanted to control on her immediately but the family (Chai and his wife) hesitated. They came to seek our opinion.

To most people, base sense dictates that there is no other option except to go for surgery. But Chai and his wife were very hesitant to put their mother straight through surgery. They asked: "What if she did not undergo surgery?" My respond then was: "Well, the stools will be blocked and procure within the colon. With time the intestine may just burst." They then asked: "Can your herbs do something." My answer: "I just don't know. I cannot see how the herbs can ever clear the blockage at all." After a lengthy discussion, we came to a compromise. I would prescription Sk Capsule A, Gi 1 and Gi 2 teas. Sk would take them for at most a week or two. If there was No revision then a surgical operation had to be done without additional delay. At the same time, Sk must immediately switch to a proper, salutary diet.

Colon Cancer

Chai and his wife went home and followed my advice. They authentically took a calculated risk. Two weeks on the herbs, the condition of Sk was back to normal. She regained her impel and her bowel movement was good, with well formed stools. She could help with cooking and drying the family's clothes, etc. In short, she became well and was able to lead a general life.

After two months, Chai brought his mother-in-law to meet us. She was a sweet 82-year-old grandmother and was so full of life. On 22 October 2005, Sk came to our centre again for the second time. She told me: "I am so full of impel now. I can jump and dance. The last time I saw you, my skin was flabby. Now you see, I have put on a bit of weight and my arm is rounder." In October 2006, we got to meet Sk again. She was well and still remained a nice, jovial lady. This was a year and three months after her colon was found blocked by cancerous tumour. She took herbs instead of undergoing an accident surgery.

Granted, the cancer may still be there, but at least as of now, Sk is leading a happy, pain-free life. She is getting used to her diet and does not grumble even though she does not take meat, milk, egg, etc., anymore. In spite of the fruits and vegetables diet that she is on, she had put on weight and had regained her condition to the fullest.

Indeed, this healing miracle has taught me a lesson. I cannot in my mind expound what had happened but I don't need an respond either. I do not want to try to expound God's miracle in human terms. When I talked to Sk, I just reminded her that it is all God's mercy and grace. I have no other explanation than this. The impossible as seen by man and his science, is made potential by God's grace.

One evening, I had a chat with Chai. I wondered why he and his wife were so against going for surgery. This is the reason. Not long ago, Chai's mother had cancer of the larynx. Since there are so many siblings in the family, Chai could not make any decision by himself as regards to his own mother's treatment. His brothers decided that healing medicine was what she needed. She underwent an immediate surgery, followed by radiotherapy. She suffered severe pains after the operation. The radiation medicine made her throat dry and sore. She could hardly eat and was on meager soft diet most of the time. The many sessions of radiotherapy weakened her and she could hardly walk by herself. Chai had to carry her up and down the stairs. Chai told me: "I could still remember the agony on my mother's face and the sufferings that she had to go through. It was a nightmarish taste for me." One and half years later, she died without any recovery. The family spent about Rm 70,000 (about Us$ 20,000) on all the healing bills.

To Chai and his wife, modern medicine is no more the respond to their 82-year old mother's cancer. They wanted to spare her from the agony that Chai's mother had experienced.

Colon Cancer: Blocked Colon Relieved by Herbs

Hope, Time, and capability of Life In Spite of Colon Cancer

Our La weekend started at 3:30 on Saturday morning and it was thrilling to watch Karlie from the time we entered the airport until we landed in Texas. She's still floating! Katie had to work and ended up, I'm sure, having a great time without whatever at home. I can't thank Nccs enough for appealing us on this very special trip.

We checked into the hotel which was within walking distance of Venice Beach and had some hours to spare before meeting up with Susan and Anne. Karlie was in someone else world - loved finding all of the buildings, watching the people, and especially meeting all the dogs that were being walked! The mountains and strand were spectacular and we sat on the pier watching surfers for some hours, dipped our toes into the Pacific Ocean, and didn't miss the opportunity to write hope in the sand before heading back to the hotel and getting ready for Frosted Pink. We as a matter of fact had no idea of what to expect.

Colon Cancer

It was phenomenal to see Anne and Susan again and to meet Dani and her husband, Lynne, and Leslie. We arrived at the pink carpet; standing in the gathering crowd and wondering what would be next. Anastacia arrived and cameras started flashing. Shawn Johnson, the olympic medalist, was also in the crowd. Limos arrived and the carpet began to fill. Peggy Fleming and Sharon Osbourne appeared. I gave Sharon a C3 Blue Star of Hope pin. She stayed signing autographs and talked for quite a while; I was surprised by her tiny stature but not by her gracious smile or warm words. She is a true inspiration! I was snapping pictures but didn't ask for one with her and will probably regret that forever. It wasn't until later that I realized it would have been fine. All of the skaters showed up and I was in awe as I saw Nancy Kerrigan, Oxsana Baiul, and Kristi Yamaguchi. Heart came next and then William Baldwin. man asked for a photograph and Karlie asked for an autograph. I took that opportunity to ask if he would pose for one with her. He smiled and said yes, then said it wouldn't be good where they were standing and he would come around to her. So with a crowd of people all around and cameras flashing, he walked around the wall to Karlie for a great view. He fast became her latest idol!! and mine, too :) I was excited to see Eva LaRue and then Joss Stone, both taking their turns. Andrea Bowen was a highlight for Karlie, who is a total Desperate Housewives fan. She signed her autograph and posed for a photograph and then stood talking with Karlie for a while longer. Karlie was amazed to contemplate they were the same age. We left to find our seats and watch the show.

Talking with Dani, who is a breast cancer survivor, I was amazed to learn that she had cycled 3700 miles to raise awareness. I listened as Susan introduced Nccs and couldn't help but think of the survivorship behind this event and the empowerment and awareness that it will bring to others was overwhelming. I wondered how Susan could seem so natural and at ease as the cameras brought concentration to her and realized that as a survivor she must be bursting with pride. I felt tears well up as she once again took her seat across from me and next to Anne, also a survivor. Reasoning of the survivorship behind this event and the empowerment and awareness that it will bring to others was overwhelming. To finish an invigorating night, my daughter moved closer to the ice and was joined by Alicia Arden from general Hospital. They clapped and shouted and Karlie truly was transformed from country girl to Tv diva for a few anticipated hours. I can't to wait to see the event transform this Sunday and hope that you will all watch it, too. There wasn't a man there unaffected by the disease and it was obvious in every singular doing and in the eyes of those watching. I notion of the Nccs toolbox and how many people it assists and am proud to know that I am part of such a strong community and that this community, together with others, ensures that we all coveryourbutt with knowledge and hope and that no one is left behind.

We arrived home late Sunday night for Karlie to go to school the next day and for me to speak at a Sirtex meeting. Karlie and I were both on Cloud 9.....she was excited to tell the world about Frosted Pink and I was Reasoning hard about time, capability of life, and hope knowing that I would soon be addressing a group of people that often hold these three gifts in their hands. I wake up each morning knowing that I wouldn't be here had it not been for Sir-spheres - realizing clearly that I would not have witnessed my daughters and their dating, driving, and diplomas. I wouldn't have had the capability I've enjoyed, the time with Ronnie, or the hope that I feel each day - knowing that someday soon this affliction will be a memory in the distant past. I got to meet Becky, too, and it was a great moment. Listening to her story and finding the pictures of her gorgeous house and hearing about her "tree of life" (which I hope she will share with all of you) was a great gift. She was enriching and inspirational and after months of emails a great treat to hug her in person.

Today is a brand new day! The sun is shining and the world is appealing and the week ahead is filled with even more to come.

The hereafter of Colon Cancer medicine

Future study of colorectal cancer will refine our understanding of the genetics of the disease. This in turn will lead to earlier identification and treatment of high-risk persons. The time to come may maybe bring the use of genetic interventions to interrupt the adenoma-carcinoma sequence.

Increased awareness of colorectal cancer by the public and by incommunicable insurers, government agencies, and healing personnel will result in better use of available screening techniques. amelioration of preventive drug strategies against colorectal cancer, particularly with drugs that sell out polyp formation or forestall polyp progression to cancer, promises to be a fruitful field of endeavor.

Colon Cancer

There is ample reason to expect refinement of diagnostic and staging tests for the disease, perfection of surgical and nonsurgical techniques for treatment of large bowel cancer and its complications, and enhancing chemotherapeutic treatment by means of more productive and less toxic drugs.

A estimate of molecular markers for colorectal cancer can be measured but it is not yet clear that they have prognostic value or therapeutic implications. Measures of Dna synthesis or cell department are of uncertain value as clinical decision-making tools. measurement of thymidilate synthase activity in colorectal cancer tissue is one of some markers under investigation as a prognostic indicator.

This could be useful in development decisions regarding the use of adjuvant chemotherapy for safe bet patients, especially those with stage Ii or B tumors. other goal would be to collect a set of markers for cancer risk for an individual who has adenomatous polyps. Presumably, such testing could reflect exposure to colon carcinogens and help define the outlook for an individual. This in turn could narrow the prospective use of screening and diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy.

Techniques to identify micrometastases in lymph node tissue are in development. These contain special stains for cytokeratin, which can identify small clusters or single malignant cells in lymph node tissue. other formula uses a technique known as Pcr for detection of Cea in resected lymph nodes. Pcr is a technique which permits rapid gravidity of large quantities of short segments of Dna or Rna.

Other techniques contain the identification in lymph node tissue of oncogene, or tumor suppressor gene mutations, which occur in the former tumor. Such techniques may be of use in reclassifying patients whose lesions are stages as Ii or B by accepted means and in selecting them for potentially life-saving adjuvant chemotherapy. Large clinical trials will be needed to resolve if identification of micrometastases by these methods for real leads to more proper treatment and improved progress.

Expression of the enzyme Cox-2 by colorectal cancers is highly variable. Greater expressions of Cox-2 by tumors are linked with lymph node metastasis, industrialized stage of cancer, and poorer long-term outlook for patients. Thus, there could be potential time to come application of this test as a means of staging and prognostication.

Colon Hydrotherapy, Weight Loss and Cancer

Colon Hydrotherapy is a breakthrough in modern preventive medicine. Since a salutary colon is indispensable to a salutary body there are safe bet facts to be learned about about this wonder organ. Colons have a threefold functions in our body: to absorb the remaining water and electrolytes from indigestible food matter; to accept and shop food remains that were not digested in the small intestine; and to eliminate solid waste (feces) from the body.

Our colon is susceptible to many condition disorders ranging from coarse abdominal cramps, hard or irregular bowel movement, obesity, to the most lethal -colon cancer. These may attributed to so much toxins in our body through our intake of such as coffee, alcohol, illicit drugs, cigarette smoke, occupational chemicals, processed foods, preservatives & additives, medications, saturated fats products, etc. When our body is all the time exposed to these substances it makes our digestion slow and some toxic substances remained in our body to accumulate. And these should be flushed out in our system.

Colon Cancer

Colon Hydrotherapy is a new way to cleanse our theory from these harmful bacteria and toxins. This is a painless and remedial course where the therapists infuse warm filtered water into the rectum using no chemicals. The pressure applied causes the waste to build up, soften and stripped away from the intestine's walls. This becomes now easier to remove through the process called peristalsis. Colon Hydrotherapy eliminates and cleanses our intestines thereby helping our body to absorb well and flushed waste regularly.

Colon Hydrotherapy is other way to shed those unwanted weight. Combined with a weight loss plan, a colon cleansing can start you on the road to losing weight. Advance from having one bowel movement every two or three days to going two or three times each day, the safe bet effect is the elimination of waste that the body has been storing for some time.

Colon Hydrotherapy is a must try in Maui, Hawaii. Hawaii is not only a haven of scenic spots for the senses but also a relaxing venue to sample the heavy benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy.

The Recurrence of Colon Cancer

For those of you who have had friends or family members that have battled colon cancer or were a victim yourself, you know how terrible this disease can be. Having survived such an ailment, no one wants to relive their past or live on the edge knowing that if can affect them again or they can succumb to its aftermath a few years later. Unfortunately, this is not always the case as colon cancer has been noted to have a high recurrence rate. In particular, it has been noted that about 20% of patients with treated colon cancer see recurring signs within five years.

Colon cancer is a disease that takes over the walls of the colon with abnormal growths called tumors. Affecting the excretion and part of the digestive process, victims are always trying to curtail the spread of this cancer that affects other vital organs of the body such as the liver. Particularly, functions of the colon consist of appealing minerals and water for storage, forming feces for expulsion, storing bacteria to aid in the digestion process and thereby preventing the increase and circulation of harmful bacteria, as well as mouth a allowable pH for chemical reactions.

Colon Cancer

Generally, other researchers have noted that recurrence rates for colon cancer vary between 4% and 55%. But technology has come to the salvage once more. Researchers have devised a genetic test, in which the recurrence of a patient's colon cancer is predicted. Ideally, it scans the genes of the sick person while the early stages of the first prognosis of the cancer to state the chances in which this disease will come back after treatment.

Generally, this is a great achievement and can do much in the process of rehabilitation as this data obtained from the test can aid the doctor in determining either chemotherapy is a good option after surgery due to the fact it will finally reappear. In fact, it can help the doctor to conclude either surgery should be the only rehabilitation recipe used, or either chemotherapy and radiation treatments should also be conducted, development it a bit more intensive.

Hopefully in 2010, this test can be launched commercially, as purported by Genomic Health, a science business founded to heighten the potential of cancer rehabilitation for patients through the use of research, increase and the commercialization of medical laboratory services. As Dr. Leonard Saltz simply puts it "the test clearly tells population that they have a greater likelihood of being in the group that is at high risk or low risk of having a reappearance". All things considered, it provides the sick person with the ample relieve of choosing either or not to do chemotherapy which is another piece of data that can guide discussions between doctor and patients concerning their status and the best option appealing forward.

Colon Cancer Symptoms - How to Know If You Have Colorectal Cancer

Colon cancer is a serious disease characterized by abnormal cell growth in the colon, which creates a cancerous tumor. This kind of illness ranks third in the list of the most common forms of cancer and are most often prevalent in population over 50 years old, but can occur in patients of any age.

Cancers of the colon, or of the rectum, are extremely treatable if they are diagnosed in the early stages of the disease. However, many population often are not diagnosed in time as early symptoms are not all the time recognized and, when they are, population are somewhat hesitant to discuss the details of their symptoms with a doctor.

Colon Cancer

The symptoms include:

Abdominal pain, bloating, or discomfortBloody stoolLong, thin stool (often described as pencil-like)Unintended weight lossLoss of appetiteChanges in general bowel habits (rectal bleeding, diarrhea, constipation, or feeling an inability to completely empty the bowel).

Each year nearly 150,000 new cases of this disease are reported. There is no identifiable cause for it, but the following are some of the factors that may growth the risk of its development:

Gender (Both men and women are equally prone to developing the malady. However, men tend to establish the rectal version at slightly higher rates, while women are more prone to the colon variety)Age (The sickness can be industrialized at any age, but the chances are increased in population over the age of 50 years old.)DiabetesObesityCigarette smokingAlcohol consumptionPoor dietFamily historyPersonal history.

People with a family history of colorectal cancer are slightly more prone to developing it. If more than one family member has been diagnosed with the problem, the risk is even higher. Also, diets high in calories and fat, and low in fiber add to an increased risk of developing the disorder. Anything over the age of 50 should experience regular screening for the disorder, but Anything in any of the above risk groups should begin earlier.

Screening commonly consists of an each year rectal exam, including stool samples. Some exams may wish a scope to be inserted into the rectum in order to view the entire bowel. If there is cause for concern or added examination of the colon's tissue, a biopsy may be ordered for a closer analysis. If cancer is discovered, other tests, such as an ultrasound, Ct scan or X-ray would be done in order to determine whether it has spread to other areas. Of singular concern is the liver as it is one of the more likely places that this dangerous disease spreads to.

Because the risk can be reduced by a high fiber diet, allowable weight management (including exercise) and by not smoking, it is extremely recommended that population opt for healthier lifestyles and decrease their chances of developing this type of life threatening ailment, and others, as much as possible.

Anyone who has experienced some of the previously mentioned symtoms, or who are in one of the risks groups for the disease, is advised to seek screening tests as early as possible since colorectal cancer responds very well to treatment in the earliest stages.
